The 2025 WNBA season is underway with some intriguing matchups taking place. In our Fever vs Dream pick, Atlanta is seeking up a second straight win after defeating Indiana in a thriller.
Fever Aim for Revenge After Close Loss
Indiana opened the season with a triumphant win against the Sky, defeating their rivals by 35 points. The new-look roster, led by 2023 first-overall pick Aliyah Boston and 2024 first-overall pick Caitlin Clark, appears to be much more competitive than last year. Unfortunately, they had their momentum halted against the Dream not long after. They’ll look for revenge on the road.
Dream Looking to Build on Momentum
Atlanta played two very close games to start the season. They came up short in the opener in Washington, but bounced back from that defeat in their victory over Indiana. After playing their first two games on the road, Atlanta now returns for their home opener, looking to pull of back-to-back wins against the Fever. New C Brittney Griner will continue to play a large role.
Indiana Fever vs Atlanta Dream Pick
Common sense would say that if the Dream beat the Fever in Indiana, they should be able to take down the same team on their own home court. That being said, their win on Tuesday could have gone either way down the stretch. If anything, Indiana should be more prepared to face a team they are now familiar with. I see Clark having a big game and evening this one out.
